Welcome to Germ's Guster Collection!

The band Guster is difficult to describe. Some have called them alt-pop. Others, college-rock. Indie-pop, folk-rock, WUSS-rock... many "dashed" descriptions are used because their style has so many influences. I've been following Guster since 1993, when they were just another band out of Boston, on the road trying to make ends meet. Now, after fourteen years and 5 albums (6 if you count Guster on Ice), Guster has grown up to a national audience and recognition.

When I got my first digital camera in 1999, I started bringing it to concerts. A few cameras later and a few press/photo passes under my belt, I've begun to really enjoy taking concert photographs - especially of a band that I feel I've grown up with! The galleries below are just some of the photos I've taken throughout this time. The early shows are first, followed by the more current ones.
