I believe that some people walk through this world without even looking at it. I mean really stopping and taking a good look. The old saying, "you got to stop and smell the roses" says it all. Many people never "stop" and that is one of the reasons I like what I do. I can stop the world and then share it with people who can't take the time to stop. You know the type of person I'm talking about don't you? This type of person usually doesn't even own a camera much less have time to stop and take a picture. It's funny but these are sometimes the people who get the most out of our photos. Why? I think it's because a photo freezes everything at that moment. Now this person can stop for a moment and look at what he passes by everyday in his busy life. This is only one of the many reasons I love to take photos. I love life and I love to share it. Especially with those who are to busy to, "stop and smell the roses."

Hi, my name is Gregg Blasingame. I have been taking pictures ever since I can remember. I converted my parent’s laundry room into a darkroom when I was about 15 years old. I remember my first 35mm camera. A Minolta XG7. I have had many cameras but today I shoot mostly all digital. I had a Canon 10D then two 20D’s and now one 5D. The Canon 5D is a 12.7 mega-pixel camera. All my lenses are Canon. I was a Nikon guy but I have been converted. I also have an Epson 10600 44" wide printer. I love to print my photos on canvas and then gallery wrap them over a wood frame. I also print on other fine art papers. These prints will last up to 100 years without fading.
