Camera-binoculars combo / Caméra et jumelles

My camera is a 3X only and I don't have a teleconverter. To photograph birds I figure a way for the moment. Here is my setup. Click on the thumbnails to see more details.

Ma caméra n'a qu'un zoom 3X, alors pour photographier les oiseaux, j'utilise un montage maison. Voici mon installation. Cliquer sur les photos pour voir davantage de détails.
I needed a way to fix the binoculars to the tripod and enough place for the camera. Here you see the bottom of the piece of wood. On the left, you see a home made quick release attachment: it's permanently attach to the plank. The 2 head screw that you see are the ones for the attachment of the binoculars (it came with the Nikon 7X50). J'avais besoin de fixer les jumelles au trépied et avoir de la place pour déposer ma caméra. Vous voyez ici l'endos de la planche. À gauche, la petite pièce de bois sert à retenir le tout sur le trépied. Les 2 têtes de vis à droite servent à fixer le pied des jumelles (il venait avec les jumelles Nikon 7X50)

J'avais besoin de fixer les jumelles au trépied et avoir de la place pour déposer ma caméra. Vous voyez ici l'endos de la planche. À gauche, la petite pièce de bois sert à retenir le tout sur le trépied. Les 2 têtes de vis à droite servent à fixer le pied des jumelles (il venait avec les jumelles Nikon 7X50)

Behind the binoculars, there is room for the camera. The lense has to be in line with one of the eyepiece; to obtain that, we had to add something under the camera. My husband end up adding that piece of plastic which is glue in place. Derrière les jumelles, il y a de l'espace pour la caméra. La lentille doit être en ligne avec un des viseurs; pour obtenir ce résultat, nous avons dû ajouter une épaisseur pour la caméra. Mon mari a finalement collé ce morceau de plastique.
