Wensley Village in North Yorkshire

New images are at the start of each gallery

Wensley is a very small village in Wensleydale and one mile south west of Leyburn. Its mainly known as a through road towards East Witton on the A684 that goes on to Bainbridge and Hawes in Upper Wensleydale. Moving away from the through road there are some beautiful cottages and houses to be found. St. Oswald's Church can be seen from many angles, though not in service now, its open to look around it, if one should desire. The graveyard is quite overgrown and there are some really old and weathered stones that have stood the test of time. In the middle of the village there is the main entrance to Bolton Hall and a village hall.
