Another Year On
Another year has passed by
Yet the thought of you still feels so raw
Never a day goes by when your not in my thoughts
To guide me in the right directions
I missed you at Christmas
As if a part of me is missing, something I cannot explain
Dad and I put new vases and flowers on your grave
Its not the same as seeing you in person to but a place to reflect
You are sadly missed mam...

Throughout my life
You were always here for me.
Your words of wisdom
Your loving ways.
I could talk of anything
You would always listen.
You gave your view
And your understanding.
We were close
Yet many years apart.
But your love
Was never any different.
A year today you where taken from us
So suddenly and so quickly.
So many words unsaid
So many questions to ask.
A difficult year
To come to terms with our loss.
As each day gets easier
The memories of you get deeper.
Dad and I were so lost loosing you
So shocked of your sudden passing.
We thought you would live forever
Never to be taken from us...

When I posted my first HDR image on the 1st January 2010,
I had no idea if it would take off or not.
Now 12 months down the road and many, many beautiful comments later,
I thank all of you that have supported my change in direction to do HDR full time.
