Hawes is a very busy country town in Upper Wensleydale.
Holiday makers, tourists, bus trips and its market days draw in a lot of custom.
But it is also the main town for many outlying villages that surround Hawes.
There are many attractions including The Famous Rope Makers, The Wensleydale Pottery and The Railway Museum.
There are cafes and public houses to have a bite to eat and a few hotels and guest houses to spend a few nights in.
The shops are lined along the high street and are well stocked from a buy anything shop to the Old Sweet Shop.
It is well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
