Pronghorn

Lamar Valley, Yellowstone

I've only seen pronghorn bucks in Yellowstone this week, not the large herds of does and young. This one was standing on a small rise near the road, perfectly still for a very long time.

Wow! That 500mm lens comes in quite handy. The males are usually pretty skiddish and they stink really bad so glad you weren't that close to him. Beautiful detail!
