For the year 2007, I've decided to have some new resolutions...
1. Learn and improve flash photography, mainly portrait flash photography, the idea here is that under low light or night photography, most of my images are really unacceptable in terms of quality. So for the new year I want to be able to take adequate images under low light situations, using my speedlite and most likely diffuser such as omnibounce to incorporate that with the ambient light that is already present. The hard part of this is to utilize natrual ambient light setting along with speedlite to create the perfect lighting!
I realized that without flash, it is almost impossible to take great quality images! But the idea is to use flash so that people don't know you've used flash because you've preserved the natrual light setting so well!
This is another factor in the already complicated equation and to master this I'm sure it'll be a super tough order and it's not something that I can learn in a year! But I plan on reading up on this and doing lots of experiments with flash.
2. I'd like to compile all my images from my 1st year PAD, basically to print out each and every picture so I have a hardcopy of it, then find a book or like a portfolio album so I can place all my images in it! I guess the idea is almost like a coffee book that's not cheapely made! I understand that all my images are digital, and that's ok, but there's a certain feel to the traditional images on print that's just so much more! And I'd like to create that as well! Obviously the printing up the image is the easy part, the hard part will be to hunt for a book, and afterward, how to present it in a coffee book way!

Online photo album portfolio - The idea with this is for me to share my digital captures with an online community and get some feedbacks as well. The images selected would be more choosy so that I could have lots of quality galleries, but the images in each selected gallery would be more outstanding. I was thinking of what type of image I would include, of course I'd want to include as much as possible, but that might be too overwhelming. But one thing I kept in mind is I'm wanting to display through digi cam, the different activates that I love. Hopefully I'll have some portraiture, candid, nature, landscape, field trips, vacation captures. It should be rather comprehensive and extensive since I do have 500 megs to my disposal.
Photography skills - Still working on the details for this one, without taking a class, it's hard to improve fast. And the type that I want to work on the most is portrait, this is going to be hard...
