I am still getting used to my new Canon 50mm f1.4 prime lens. This lens was acquired on one of my recent trips to Southern California.
I love it and look forward to learning to see with and through it. This shot was a not so easy, un-cropped, 'blind' hand held self portrait shot with my 5D SLR.
It surely produces some narrow DOF at f2.5, as seen in this image.
I will have to play around with that to get comfortable with the effect.
I love a 50mm for people pictures and B&W, I am very greatfull to have this lens in my EF stable of glass.
