I'm really thrilled with the new iPod Touch. It is only slightly longer, but thinner, than the iPod Classic. The screen is very responsive and so much easier to navigate than the older Ipod Classic. In my opnion, it's like day and night. After using it for awhile I can see why people like the iPhone so much. The user interface and responsive touch screen is really enjoyable to use.
I had some problems using the iPod Classic when it was placed under a thin sheet of plastic (iMaingo). The spin dial was not easy to manipulate. The new iPod Touch is a joy to use. It's all touch. No spinning. And it works very well under a thin piece of plastic. Incidentally, there is a new iMaingo 2 due out in stores soon and it fits the new iPod Touch. Or you can just make some minor adjustments (involves some cutting) to the older iMaingo to fit the new iPod Touch.
This iPod Touch has wireless internet capability. Often when traveling and wanting to do a quick check on the weather, I just need to turn on the iPod Touch instead of powering up a laptop. That is convenient.
