Cabot Trail, Cape Breton - Nova Scotia

I met many cyclist on the Cabot Trail. You wouldn't believe how expensive some of the bikes are. One guy had his bicycle custom built for around $1,000 if I recall correctly. Heard another bicycle cost $3,000. And one was at $6,000....Titanium frame, I think.

Thanks Ian. I'll assume a bicycle like that never gets chained to a post. Back in my biking days I had 3 of my bicycles stolen. I don't bike as much these days and I miss it.

I love to bike too. You'd be shocked at some of the bikes I see here in Japan. My local pro shop currently has an Italian road bike on display for........about 11,500 CDN$! No, not a typo! I can't believe that people actually buy these bikes, but they do... I've enjoyed your galleries, nice images. Ian
