This perch is very low to the ground...at least it appears so with a deep layer of snow underneath it. The owl stayed on the perch for what seemed like twenty minutes. There is another owl just to its left but higher up, keeping an eye on it. All around the owl are photographers and the little guy did not care at all. It was a surreal scene.
