One of 5 to 6 families of pied-billed grebes at the storm management pond along Aquaview Drive in Orleans (east end of Ottawa). This is the last family to fledge in June. They'll all do it again next spring. Good photo ops from spring into summer as various families of grebes fledge.

The pond is bordered on the one side by Lakepoint Drive and Silverado Crescent on the other side (Aquaview and Silverado Crescent). Pond is just across the street.

Head east along the Queensway until Tenth Line Road exit. Head up along Tenth Line Road to Innes Road. Turn left at Innes and continue to Esprit. Turn right on Esprit and then right again on Aquaview. Continue on Aquaview to Silverado Crescent or Bois Vert road.
