This female Great Horned Owl was persistenly dive-bombed by several crows. Here the owl ducks slightly to avoid the crow from behind. In between the avoidance manouevers, the owl was snapping at the crows with its beak. I was able to observe this from very close up. This image is about 90% full-frame from top to bottom but was taken in landscape mode and cropped on sides.
