I may post some of the more gruesome shots later. The Hawk Owl took its sweet time eating this rodent. Didn't even see the Hawk Owl catch it as I was walking in the woods at the time. Soon as I came out into the field there it was perched on the hydro wires. Then it was meal time for the owl. Despite what the owl may have been "thinking" I was not waiting below for table scraps.
