With contributions from a perfect defense, special teams and a balanced offense, the Gaels put in a workman-like job defeating the Blues 72-0. The Gaels' defense pitched a shutout with Ian Hazlett, Michael Patone and Corey Trudeau recording sacks. Curt McLellan made one, and Nick Corneil made two interceptions, one for a TD. They allowed the Blues only 137 net yards including 34 on the ground and also forced two Toronto fumbles.

The Gaels' offense netted 486 yards, 201 rushing and 312 passing. Their 25 first downs were split evenly 13 on the ground and 12 in the air. TDs were scored by Iain Fleming (2), Michael Navo (2), Bryan Crawford, Mike Hendry, Andrew Smith and Craig Spear. The rest of the scoring was from Chris Napoli's 9 converts and 2 field goals, and a single by Will VVreugdenhill.
