Before a Homecoming crowd over 10,000 strong, the Gaels handily defeated the visiting Waterloo Warriors 51-3. Tom Denison had another 400+ yard passing day (422), hitting on 29 of 40 passes for 2 TDs and in so doing, overtook Beau Howes for the Queen's career passing record. Iain Fleming hauled in 8 passes for 176 yards and Craig Spear caught 8 for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns. The ground attack accounted for 132 yards on 25 carries, including TD runs by Mike Hendry, Aethan Sakell, Andrew Smith and Ryan Sheahan. The Gaels had 570 yards in net offense. The game also saw the return of Roger Levac who was last seen kicking for Queen's in game 6 of 2002. He was good on his 4 converts and one field goal try.

The D held Waterloo to just 151 net yards and scored 3 safeties. Corey Trudeau and Michael Patone had a sack each. Curt McLellan, Andrew Moad and Nathan Haskell each recovered a fumble while Haskell also snared an interception.
