The 2001 season will long be remembered as the turnaround year, as Coach Pat Sheahan - the OUA Coach of the Year, James MacLean - the All-Canadian WR and Queen's career receiving record holder, new QB Tommy Denison and a terrific group of coaches and players turned a one-win season from 2000 into six victories, including a second straight win over the Mustangs and an OUA quarter-final win against Laurier.
