I shot about 6,000 photos on my trip to Africa, and wanted to make a gallery showing my favorite 60 or so images. My favorite animals to watch were the ellies and the baboons, especially when the ellies are in water, they become so playful. Baboon society is fascinating to watch, from the huge and powerful protective and watchful males to the SILLY youngsters endless play.

But seeing wild leopards was the hands down #1 wildlife thrill in my lifetime. It was an electrifying thrill that left you in awe after a leopard encounter. We even got lucky enough to watch a young male set off on his evening hunt and set up ambushes for impala and duikers.
Wild Africa is beyond words amazing and fascinating.
