Photos from the third annual St. Louis RPM Meet, held on 25 & 26 Aug, 2006 at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL (Collinsville is 12 miles east of metro St. Louis). We had approximately 285 attendees. The total model count was about 1100 models.

Clinics were provided by Richard Hendrickson, Gene Fusco, Mike Dudley, Stu Thayer, Jim Mischke, Ed Hawkins, Ted Culotta, John Welther, Clark Propst, Mike Moore, and John & Dan Kohlberg. Vendors included Bob’s Photos, Rail Yard Models, Rails Unlimited, Modeler’s Choice, Details West, ICG Custom Decals, Proto:87 Stores, AMB, Badger, Speedwitch, Des Plaines Hobbies, Big Four Graphics, Red Board Hobbies, John Fuller Photos, Joe Collias Photos, Mike Gruber Photos, and others. 10 Historical Societies were present, including the Terminal RR, MoPac, Illinois Terminal, Wabash, NKP, Soo, C&NW, Central of Georgia, Penn Central, and the Litchfield & Madison. In addition, the Gateway Society of Model Railroad Engineers presented a 35' operating FreeMo layout.

Many new and upcoming products were displayed (see photos) and we had a great time. The 2007 meet was postponed because I moved to Indiana and didn't have enough time to co-host a meet. The 2008 meet will be held 15 & 16 August, 2008 at the Gateway Center.
