Magnum P.I.

For friends of Magnum, our favorite Private Investigator from Hawaii.
Visit Newsgroup alt.tv.magnum-pi for the never ending discussion about Magnum and his best, ahem... friend, Jonathan Q. Higgins, one of the most capable men ever to walk the surface of Earth. Or so he thinks, and I like him so much for just that. In fact, unfortunately, Newsgroups are almost dormant these days. Probably more activities are on diverse private blogs. Internet is an ever changing "creature."

Unfortunately probably the longest active and most comprehensive set of information about the series, Marco Smetz's Magnum, p.i. Pages, seem to be out of service, but... is reopening soon!. Many of the web sites dedicated to Magnum seem to be offline now.

Fortunately a newcomer Magnum-Mania, made by James J. Walters fills in. James is actively updating his web pages and is now clearly the primary source of best current information about Tom Selleck and everything around Magnum P.I.

Beautiful pictures! My grandfather was a shriner in Hawaii and his beach club owns the property next door to Robin's Nest so I had the good fortune of growing up visiting here often and peeking over the fence. It's nice to see there are others who think this property is as special as I always have. Many years ago, I remember seeing a cow grazing the grounds of Robin's Nest. I stumbled upon this website by accident, looking for Oahu vacation rentals for my next vacation and wondered if this property was for rent. Thanks for the pictures!

I went to "Robin's Nest" in 1996. From the road the gates have a turtle design on them. If you drive past the house a little ways there is a prking area on the right. From there it isn't far to walk along the beach until you get to the other side of Robin's Nest where the tidal pool is. It was really cool to be there and see Rabbit Island in the distance as I had seen in many scenes from MPI. Robin's Nest is called the Anderson Estate and is owned by Eve Anderson. Anyway, great site. Big fan. Elaine in England.

What fun !!! I used to live on Oahu and couldn't for the life of me figure out where 'the estate' was !! Thanks so much for the pics and as well, making me homesick !! :)

Joanna, About your Island Hopper shirt I've looked every where for one and I finally found a website. It is rocknrobbie.com It's a cool magnum website and you have to email the guy and tell him you want a shirt and what color and size. I got a pink one for me and a navy blue one for my boyfriend. They are a little pricey but its an exact one!!! Looks just like the one T.C. wears in the show!!! Hope this helped!!!

Hi..My husband is a huge fan of Magnum and has always wanted an island hopper's shirt..does anybody out there have a source?? Marco's page used to have the decal but he's page is no longer available..!

Fantastic stuff! For any Magnum fan, your ventures onto the estate are surely a dream come true. I hope to take my 6 year old (who is totally into Magnum P.I. !!!) there some day, also to swim in "Mr. Masters tidal pool"!
