Molokai, rural and Hawaiian See Visit Molokai Web Page for visitors information. It is indeed a quiet place, especially when compared to its bustling neighbor Oahu and the equally overrun Maui. However we did not liked a bit the $850 charge for a week of ordinary car rental. This rate made us feel "ripped off"... Who likes to feel that way? However, without experiencing the Molokai our Hawaiian adventures would seem incomplete. Especially the visit to Kalaupapa was almost a spiritual encounter with history, which left on us a lasting impression. |
