Brown-headed Nuthatch

2011-2012 I discovered Brown-headed Nuthatches at work. Our 400+ acre campus, dotted with pine trees, is now, I'm pretty sure a permanent home for the Nuthatches. I will watch for nesting activity in 2012.
April, 2010, we do believe the Brown-headed Nuthatch is nesting in Faulkner County!!

Wow, these are good! I've wanted to see one, but we don't get those guys up here in NEA. I am excited to see the Red-headed Nuthatches back up here this year though. My Pbase galleries have some bird pics but they are mainly just other wildlife shots.
