That's what I figured too, Martin. The capacitor is 330v, 240uF.

I can see only one reason to have a big capacitor like that in the camera. It's a high voltage cap that stores the energy for the flash. What is it's V and uF rating?

Notice the test probe landing pad array below the lens mount used for automated testing.
