These images were made on a trip to northern Spain during the last two weeks of September 2007. The timing is important as at the beginning of autumn there can be a lot of cloudy and rainy days, which was in fact the case. This affected the photography in several ways, sometimes limiting shooting opportunities, and often the light was less than optimal...as happened at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Shots were taken using both film and digital. Additional images taken on Kodak HIE are in the Infrared gallery. Areas visited include Pais Vasco (Basque country), Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia, and Castilla y Leon. The region is varied, beautiful, and full of history.
