small hilltop Italian towns have charming old streets, yet with nothing growing on them they can seem a tad forlorn...at least this one had a few interesting colours amid the gloom

I really like this moody capture. My favorite part is how the lines in the walkway have a gentle curve that leads the viewer so nicely into the frame. The lighting is terrific.
