1930s blues wizard Robert Johnson had a huge influence on subsequent popular music, and musicians...on his one classic album was the song Terraplane Blues, full of double entendres and blatant sexual innuendo...always admired the piece, but never knew just what a Terraplane was until the revelatory moment here at the automobile/aeroplane museum in Hood River
other now famous tracks from Johnson include Walking Blues, Crossroads Blues, Sweet Home Chicago, Dust My Broom, and Love in Vain...here is a link: http://www.robertjohnsonbluesfoundation.org/biography/
