reaction

there has been varied reaction to the opening of a Trump Tower in Vancouver today...two demonstrations were staged, with turnout apparently smaller than expected...the TV news featured 'streeters' with participants, a few of whom supported Trump, yet most were opposed (including the mayor and the province's premier) to the name being here on the basis of accusations of 'sexism and racism' espoused by The Donald...was tempted to go check out the scene, but nasty weather precluded the adventure

the terra cotta masks were seen in Pitigliano, Tuscany, on a previous, more peaceful day

Great masks, I agree with Nick, I've never known anyone create such divided opinion as Trump...... at least since a certain M Thatcher.

An interesting grouping, and well captured. And bravo for the people who protested that Trump Tower; too bad you couldn't go!

In a way the expressions on the masks reminds me of the varied responses to Trump.

They are very attractive. They remind me of going to one of those paint it yourself pottery places. Nicely captured.
