limitations

Cisco (Landing), Utah

a young woman who actually lives in Cisco (a.k.a. Cisco Landing) came over to chat, was friendly enough, yet laid out limitations on how much of the deserted town we could explore, and asked that we not enter any old buildings...somehow that did not seem an appealing option anyway

Someone always has to ruin the fun. Just kidding. I wouldn't want to enter that either. Great composition with the desert in the background. V

I could live well not going in. Great framing and capture. ~V~

Absolutely the best vantage point for the shot David...definitely on its last legs...BV

Maybe she was the safety officer...this one looks like it is going to fall down. Interesting how the siding on one side of the front door is different from the other side.

A fixer upper? I would not venture inside either. Excellent capture of this dilapidated structure! V

She was probably afraid you'd sue (whoever there is to sue) if it fell down on top of you :) Pretty sad sight !

Agree with you David. This one is best photographed from the outside. Makes for a fascinating subject.

Sounds like good advice. Great image of this shack.

Neat find. I like the clarity and DOF as it makes looking around the whole structure easy.

Like most old buildings in rural areas I find. They don't tear them down. They wait for time to do it.

Sad to see it in this condition

Needs some work! I like it!

Excellent capture of this deterioration, but I don't get whose limitations she was talking about.
