a long table in the apartment building's lobby usually offers local newspapers and advertising flyers...as a rule never touch these tedious options...this day, about two weeks ago, the only booklets on offer were a surprising change, pumping up the allure of Arizona...odd, (cynically calculating perhaps?) that in a cold and wet northwest city there should be flyers offering up the benefits of visiting warm and dry Arizona during winter..I immediately felt targeted, exploited, and then quickly booked flights...so much for resistance to advertising!
