freshet

Fort Langley

every year the Spring freshet sees the river swollen by rainfall and snowmelt...this year the flow, now at the tail end, is only at 75% of normal though...a mild winter and a warm dry spring have reduced the supply of available water

this was taken from the Glover Road bridge between Fort Langley and McMillan Island to the right

Nice late spring scene David! Hopefully summer will bring much needed rain to your neck o' the woods soon!

Well captured scene and interesting information, too. Hope you get some rain there to increase the water supply.

It is also very dry here in normally rainy Western Oregon. Oh how I would love a little rain!
