trim

this barber shop dates from 1920, and the older chairs take me back to my youth..the elderly Turkish couple who work here weekends are totally sympathetic...arguably a trim is a waste of $20, still with the hair blowing into my eyes during recent weeks, it was necessary to make the sacrifice...as a reward I bought new socks on the way home..the neck is now colder, yet the feet are toasty..

This made me smile, David. I'm sure I would still say,
"Get a haircut!" :)

The story is as good as the photo and toasty toes are always a pleasure. V

Too funny, sounds like a haircut and a dentist visit might be slightly related.... :) Its a great image taken from inside out!

Such a unique shot. That'll be $20 invested in keeping an olde worlde barber running.

Inside out, a different POV David, not sure what new socks have to do with getting a short back and sides:-)
but you obviously enjoyed your day...

I like the view from within looking out on the world. Nice reflection in the mirror as well. If they're Turkish, I imagine you got a good haircut and maybe a neck massage. Loved the story as well.
