there are some large scale Christmas displays around the city and hope to visit one or two soon...on a more modest scale, right around the neighbourhood the lights are going up, lending a bit of festive glow to the streets

in setting up the tripod the black rubber cap from one of the legs fell off, and I could not find it in the dark...will have to return here in the morning to try and retrieve it
