a bit of a shadowy presence for the last ten days, posting the odd comment but no fresh pix, I am now back up and running to some degree...the computer problems, constant crashing, seemed to stem from PS Elements 9, which had Premier Elements attached...now I have done away with that program, and picked up the disc for PS Elements 10 (without the premier option, which is really for video anyway)...that said it is not yet loaded onto the computer, so instead trying out the Nikon program, View NX2, that came with the D7000...it seems fine for uploading and organizing, but processing is primitive and limited...that is OK though, as it means getting it right in the camera, always the top challenge
