guardians of the flame

Morris dancing has been performed in the western border areas of England for over 500 years, and there are still enthusiasts around the planet, wherever Englishmen have emigrated and brought with them the old traditions...in Vancouver there is a troupe of Morris Men, and a second troupe of Morris Ladies...here the lads are seen dancing out at Brock House, beside Jericho Park in Vancouver...their dances are full of fun, and as it is thirsty work, are usually performed close to a pub

Yep they are totally mad LOL..........but very colourful and entertaining.........and summer just wouldn't be summer without em......who would have thought the virus of Morris men would have spread to the four corners of the globe from that humble village green ;-))........great image,looks good in original.
