There are several images of the Museo Guggenheim in the Spain gallery...here are those few again...and some others too for anyone interested in seeing more views of architect Frank Gehry's amazing structure. The weather wasn't the best that day in Bilbao...cloudy...grey...with the light a bit flat...still the intriguing building shone through the muted atmosphere.
This gallery is now complete at 20 images. However you can also view additional shots of the museum, made on a sunnier day, by the excellent pbase photographer Gonzalo Garcia de Viedma.

Excellent gallery, especially for those who are interested in architecture. Frank Gehry is one of the most talented architect in the world. This building resembles a little bit his Disney Concert Hall he designed in Los Angeles. That's where I occasionally go for some classical concerts. The outside frame is made of stainless steel. Very impressive and unique. V

Amazing structure. Sorry you had a gray day, but the soft light shows the details wonderfully. You might enjoy reading about the parent institution of the Guggenheim Bilbao, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. There's a wonderful article, including photos here: <http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Guggenheim_Museum.html Among his other notable work is the Johnson Wax Co. Building, which like most, went terribly over budget. Very interesting, charismatic, and controversial character in his day, and kept at it until his death at 92. Easily among the most influential architects of modern structures. Thanks for sharing, it's an excellent gallery. Well done!
