While the rest of the country was celebrating Good Friday, our team was spending our own calvary. It was a day filled with ascend. The morning hike began at 7 AM by crossing Eddet River on a hanging bridge and spending three hours going up to a a place called Marlboro Country where we had our lunch. Another 3 1/2 hours was spent in the afternoon until we reached the saddle of Mt. Pulag at 4 PM. It was misty as we crossed the grassland. Heavy rain poured while we were setting camp. The sun shined later until it sets and the cool weather comes in.
