Our wakeup call was set at 3 AM but our trek began almost 4 AM. It took us just over an hour to reach the summit of Mt. Pulag. The sky was still clear and the weather was good. The sight was awesome as ocean-like formation of the clouds can be seen above the mountain range. The first burst of sunrise was stunning and the morning sun thereafter was really bright. The clouds did not reach the summit unlike last year's experience. But still, I saw the sunrise during my summit visits.

We stayed at the summit for some time before going back to the camp. Our descend started mid-morning and reached the Ranger Station past noon. We arrived at Baguio City past 6 PM and had a sumptuous dinner. Our return trip to Manila was scheduled before 11 PM.
