A surfer's haven. The waves are conducive for surfing. Not really a place for beach bums since the waves are strong. One has to go down beach from the high grounds where the entry point to the beach is located. The sand is similar to Cebu beaches. Light colored but not as fine as Boracay Island in the Philippines.
