Goldwater Lake, Prescott
Nestled in the pines, Goldwater Lake reservoir is a tranquil place to fish, hike, canoe or just plain relax.
The Bannon Creek Trail follows the lake's shoreline and takes you through mixed riparian and forest plant
zones which include ponderosa pine, scrub oak, Gambel oak, manzanita blends, cottonwood, willow, alder,
walnut and cattail. There is an abundance of birdlife, including lake birds such as coots, woodducks and
blue herons ( which, unfortuntely, happen to be the most camera-shy birds EVER, hence No pics ).
I never tire of visiting this lovely area...hope you enjoy the photos!
