Greetings Glenda,

Your gallery is truly breathtaking!! It warms my heart to see such beauty captured on film. I live on the coast in the panhandle of Florida. I enjoy spending my days observing the beauty around me and inherited a love of nature from my mother. One of my favorites are the birds...especially the bald eagle. He truly owns the shoreline here and takes my breath away every time I see him!

Warm Regards,

Jennifer

Nice to meet you today. The alligators, I guess, were snuggled up in the mud today to keep warm. I enjoy your pictures. You are a genius with a camera.

Holiday Greetings from the rainy Oregon Coast! We arrived in Victoria the week Hurricane Carla came through. What a greeting! We lived in Victoria and Austin for 23 very short years and sailed our Columbia 28, with our 3 young sons, from Matagorda to Corpus and all the bays in-between. Raced small boats in Lavaca Bay off of Magnolia Beach. Texas in the Spring was near to Heaven! We moved to Austin (Lakeway) and found a whole new venue to photograph...Hill Country, rocks, lizards, snakes and a big wooly tarantula migration. Unexpected beauty is always available in Texas...all places, all seasons! Bill and I retired to the Oregon Coast the year after Mt. St. Helens erupted ('82). I invite you to bring your camera out and photograph the wild Pacific. We also have Lupines (yellow and lavender) in the spring...and lots of interesting birds and beasts. We live on a hill overlooking the Pacific and the Salmon River...choice views. If you will send me your E-mail address, I'll send you a sample. It'll make you catch your breath and pack your camera. We miss Texas--a LOT!--and loved your galleries. Thanks mary kacy >mariglen@charter.net<

Hi, Glenda,
After receiving your email about my Texas Hillcountry black/white, I visited your website. Your work is breathtaking, and the fact that you've only been at it for 3 years tells me one thing; you have a natural, God given talent. Keep it up!

Hi. Concerning your picture of the unknown bird. It sure looks like a common loon to me from what I can see of the body. Could be wrong but the head looks a lot like a loon.
Really lovely pic's you have here.
thanks.

I found your galleries from you PAD today, and I am so glad I did. It it so nice to meet a fellow Texan who photographs the same things I do. I'm in Central Texas, a village called Wimberley. All of my sunsets are taken from the back porch of my home, (if you get a chance check out my PAD tomorrow, the sunset was beautiful tonight) and all of my sunrises from the front yard. The butterflies are all filmed in my butterfly garden! So you can see why I enjoyed your galleries so much. My husband in confined to a wheelchair because of a stroke, so I'm home almost all of the time, but how blessed I am to have these views. Enjoyed your galleries and can't wait to visit again.

Glenda;
Your Underground pictures led me to your web site and to your garden pictures. They are very impressive. How do you keep the rabbits from eating everything?

Stunning photos, Glenda! And taken with a Canon 10D, no less!--my favorite camera.
Only if convenient, I would love your hardest hitting feedback on my first pix with the 10D, which should appear here:

Thank you so much for the correction on the Poiniana. I just love that flower it is so brllant in color. I sure appreciate any and all corrections, have a wonderful day.
Selvin Chance 12-Mar-2004 14:21
You've a great garden started. One small correction, re: image 26726481 the flower indicated is not an orchid, it's a Poinciana.

Love the close-up of the lillies, the banana flower is got great perspective, shows the full details, not too many people realzie nwhere bananas come from.
Aloha and thanks for sharing.
