This is one of the few lakes in the area with no motor restrictions. Water skiing is popular. However, the lake levels may be low during dry years rendering the boat ramp difficult to use. Good for largemouth bass, channel catfish, sunfish and carp. Located off Highway 191, 11 miles south of St. Johns and 17 miles north of Springerville. Lyan Lake State Park manages facilities including campgrounds, picnic area, launch ramps and grocery. Fee required.
