Damselflies are insects in the order odonata. Damselflies are similar to dragonflies, but the adults can be distinguished by the fact that the wings of most damselflies are held along, and parallel to, the body when at rest. The dragonflies have 2 pairs of stiff wings held at 90 degree angles.

Beautiful capture of our vanishing nature. We see less butterflies than we used to,
I remember the monarchs in New Jersey gathering for their long trip to warmer places
for the winter.
