Your image sure gives a sense of the gloom. Hope things have improved by now. V

Sorry to hear of the smoke, it creates quite an eerily beautiful image Gill.. v

A shame to see a beautiful area like this covered in so much smoke Gill.

The smoke creates such a moody and foreboding atmosphere. So well composed with this format. "V"

It is amazing how a threatening haze can yield such mood and beauty in an image. I wonder if you're feeling that way about it though?

Beautiful mood and a lovely landscape but I feel for you guys. We had a bad run of smoke here last year. Terrible. Vote.

wow, not expecting this but it made for a mystical image. VV

The pale pink grey tones are really beautiful here and create a very poetical image - Such a pity that it is due to fires...V.

This reminds me of an old Japanese print. I like it very much. "VVV"
I hope the smoke does not bother your lungs.

A beautiful wide shot. So sad about all the smoke.

It's a beautiful image. This wildfire season has been tragic for BC particularly with the number of human caused fires. Very smoky here in the Southern Interior this morning.

Great wide shot, so sad about the haze and hopefully things will improve soon. V

the current grim skies well portrayed...down here on the coast there is a slight clearing this evening with a few stars, Vega and Deneb (both high in the sky) visible...perhaps over the weekend conditions will improve..

Great image, but so awful what's causing the haze.
Helen Betts12-Aug-2017 02:29
Wow, that is shocking. Hope you're all OK. V.
