The Black Dragon Pool appears here at his best, with exactly the right light. Not so lucky (or patient) when I went there. I noticed that this wonderful picture appears on the cover of book 'China: People Place Culture History' (ISBN 978-0756631598). Gil, does this book also contain other of your pics ?

Acceptional, the light and color is amazing, like a painting. This garden reminds me of a Chinese Garden in Montreal with the same bridge and pagoda place the same with the garden house on the right. Maybe the garden was designed after this beautiful wonder :) I can see why this made it to favs. adding to my favs so I can visit some more :)

Beautiful picture of Lijiang's signature and most photographed landmark. I was there in Dec last yr, but the sky was overcast and the Yulong Mountain was completed hidden by mist.
