Five years after Katrina, New Orleans is as vibrant as ever. The Queen of the Mississippi offers so many photo opportunities.

Giancarlo: It is clear that you sought out a variety of images to one extent or another iconic of this amazing city. I'm very happy you posted this gallery. It shows a lot, it says a lot. Right after Katrina two of of my sons went down to help with the cleanup, and what a job it was. They never forgot. Thank you. BV

Bright and beautiful as befitting a New Orleans display. Particularly liked the backlit Jacksons' silhouette. However, only you could find a bagpiper in the big easy!
