I always believed that ONLY aperture rules...till the day I became a proud owner of an FS-102 refractor. From that day my 10", 12" reflectors started collecting dust and were finally both sold. Takahashi among with Astro-physics are the 2 leading telescope manufacturers....somethin like Canon and Nikon in photography!

I believe I have an old Takahashi telescope but can not find any markings nor id on either tube or tripode. Any way or anyone know how I can id this scope? I wish to get parts or accessories for this scope.

Your TOA-130 picture on page 8 is a preproduction model, as one can tell by the lack of the dewshield stop ring, and the extra extension between the main tube and the focuser. Deane Clark

Congratulations about this nice work I have a teegul 100 Cassegrain telescope and no information about it, it looks like a 100mm Cassegrainian with lenses inside the central baffle to erect image. I'lll be pleased to send a picture of the tube if you wish. Best regards Paul www.astronomix.com
