Hortus Bulborum is a garden in the village of Limmen.
Nowhere in the world such an enormous variety of historical tulips can be found as in this garden. Among them the Duc van Tol, Red and Yellow that was grown in Holland for the first time in 1595 and laid the foundation of commercial bulb growing. Apart from tulips many varieties of daffodils, crocuses,hyacinths and Fritillaries Imperialis can be admired here.



Hortus Bulborum is een schitterende tuin in Limmen.
Nergens ter wereld vind je zoveel verschillende historische tulpen als in deze tuin. Daaronder de Duc van Tol, Red and Yellow. Deze werd in Nederland voor het eerst gekweekt in 1595 en legde de basis voor de commerciële bollenteelt. Behalve tulpen zijn er in deze tuin ook vele soorten krokussen, narcissen,hyacinten en Fritillaria Imperialis te bewonderen.
