German:

After many months of coming to terms with our father's death (Yes, he was my father too)...I'm still sad that you never reached out and even gave me our dad's email so that I could have contacted him before he passed away. Shame on you and your family for the way you treated his second wife of 20 years and his adopted children. I never did anything wrong and I know how much he loved me and my brother but it still hurts how it happened. I know he's proud of how he raised Juan and I-our accomplishments are examples of the positive effect he had on our lives. I am sure I can forgive you someday and bring closure to all of this.

I started out in Deck Dept working for BMCM Davidson, the King during Shellback times. The second westpac in 1983 I ran the Print Shop :) Drop me i line sometime gamink@yahoo.com

Ok, I'm over the shock. Sorry about my last entry. You really do have some great pictures. My favorite is Las Olas on the beach page. You should do a coffee table book of all lifeguard towers! You've probably already thought of that. I'll stop monopolizing your guestbook now.

Hello Tammy, I'm glad you liked the pictures and they inspire your soul. As a matter of fact I do have a picture of a church steeple in Key West and will upload it just for you.
Tammy 31-Dec-2003 16:41
Hi German! Your pics are awesome!! Especially the nature ones. You really captured Creation at its best!! At its freshest moments! I saw God all over them! You truly have a gift that inspires the soul to look deeper and to search harder! Fantastic! Just fanstastic. Hey, ever thought about shots of church steeples? The Holy Spirit just gave that idea to me...just a thought for you from above! Again, love the pics! Keep up the great work! Love Tammy in Cleveland, Ohio ~

Thanks for your comments in my gallery! Luckily, I had to go to work, so I only shot the FTAA early in the day and managed to miss the tear gas and rubber bullets. I could only imagine how that would be, as I was frightened enough getting shoved around and having a gun pointed in my direction. I see that you take advantage of lots of sites and happenings in S Fla with your camera. I'm new at this, but I hope to do the same!

German Rodriguez 03-Dec-2003 21:09
Thanks for the compliment John. I just took a look at your pictures and I think they are just awesome! The Miami lifeguard pictures are from a batch that I took over the past 7 months with my D100. The gotcha is that my hard drive crashed about 6 weeks ago and I lost all the pictures. Shame on me because I know better and had not backed any of them up except for a few. So now I'm back to having to take them all over again. Hard lesson learned.
John Lasseter 03-Dec-2003 20:58
You're doing some great photography. Brings back many memories of Miami, specially the lifeguard towers. Thanks for sharing your view of the world J
