First time I discovered this pair with ten young geese was the beginning of May, I thought the family with eight was enough, but 10 ???. They were in the corner of Lake Leaky and feeding on the grasses but didn't stay to long as soon as they discovered I was standing their observing them.
About 20 days later I found up the little hill at the Grassy Ridge area..all were well.
One youngster saw me so from the distance, it was trailing way behind the others and seemed to be on it's own. In certain areas the grasses were tall and soon they disappeared towards the lake in hast. I went back again 2 weeks later see if I could find them, but they moved on also, maybe more to the middle of the marsh area of the lake were the others are.
